Scran Wins Silver Muse
Scran is pleased to announce it has won a 2001 Silver Muse Award from the American Association of Museums (AAM),
'In recognition of the Highest Standards of Excellence in the use of Media and Technology for a Collections Database or Research Resource'.
Now in its twelfth year, the Muse Award program is operated by the AAM's Media and Technology Professional Committee, and this year's awards were announced at a special ceremony at the AAM Saint Louis conference on 7 May 2001.
Although the scope of the Muse Awards is international, Scran is the only Silver Muse winner in any category from outside North America. Honourable mentions in other categories went to Tate Modern (Multimedia), National Palace Museum, Taipei (DVD) and Museum Victoria, Melbourne (Video).
