Adult Learners' Week 16-23 May 2011
Adult Learners' Week is the UK’s largest festival of learning and seeks to inspire thousands of adults to find out how learning can transform their lives.
To celebrate Adult Learners' Week, Scran will be out and about offering training, talks and hands-on taster sessions to a whole range of different audiences.
Wednesday 18 May
We'll be offering training for libraries staff at Perth and Kinross Libraries.
Thursday 19 May
Find us in the Scottish Borders at the Borders Interactive Gathering. Drop in and visit the Scran stand at The BIG Event at the Volunteer Hall, Galashiels between 12 noon and 6 pm.
Friday 20 May
We're in Fife where we'll be offering a taster session for Silver Surfers' in partnership with Fife Libraries. Contact Duloch Library for more information.
Saturday 21 May
We'll be in East Dunbartonshire at the region's Family and Local History Fair. We'll be giving a presentation on Scran at 2:15 pm at the Auld Kirk Museum, Kirkintilloch.
