Scran CPD - coming to school near you

15th August, 2011

Back to school and Scran CPD training takes off again! In the coming term we’ll be delivering face to face sessions across Scotland, reaching as far north as the Shetland Isles in October. A South Lanarkshire school is having a session tailored to address the issue of copyright. We’ll be talking about archives for education in Aberdeenshire and attending the nationwide Modern Studies Conference in November.

If you’re in Fife, you can catch up with us at the ICT showcase or perhaps we’ll see you at the Creative Learning Network gathering in South Ayrshire? Perth & Kinross probationary teachers have the opportunity to benefit from free Scran training on several dates during the autumn too. Meanwhile trainee teachers based UWS, in Ayr will be introduced to the resource in September.

On our travels we’ll be engaging teachers from Dundee, Dumfries & Galloway, E. Lothian, E. Ayrshire, Falkirk, Midlothian & Renfrewshire. During these regular Scran sessions, we’ll be highlighting how versatile our resources are for CfE.

If you are unable to join in any of these training events, just contact us and we will happily arrange a session for your school, local cluster or subject area. We are also able to provide training via Glow Meet, as we have added this option to the Scran Glow Group. If you have any queries about training please do not hesitate to contact the Scran for schools education officers, Jackie Sangster or Andrew James.
