Patients and Practitioners: The nurse's role
Created by Deborah Brunton, Hazel Coleman, Rob Barnes, Faculty of Arts, The Open University
This page presents selected screen shots from the Patients and Practitioners CD ROM.
Patients and Practitioners looks at two main aspects of the nurse's role: The good nurse and The hospital hierarchy. Learners use visual sources to explore how photographers have chosen to portray nurses and to consider the nurse’s place in the hospital hierarchy. Each section is made up of an Introduction and a Summary, together with a number of exercises based on individual images. Some exercises also offer feedback and hotspot options.
