There is a legend to explain how Rome was built. Twin boys, Romulus and Remus, were left by the River Tiber to starve. They were saved by a she-wolf. The picture of this coin shows the boys being fed by the wolf. The word 'ROMA' at the bottom of the coin tells us it was minted in Rome.
